Healing Together: Support for Children & Young People Affected by Domestic Abuse

A evidence based trauma-informed programme helping children and young people feel safe, seen, soothed and secure.

Helping Children Heal Through Connection

A gentle, structured early intervention programme for children aged 5–16 who have experienced domestic abuse.

Children who experience domestic abuse often carry invisible wounds. The Healing Together programme is designed to help them begin their journey of healing in a safe, supportive environment.

Grounded in trauma-informed principles, co-developed with clinical psychologists and trauma informed experts, this programme empowers children to learn about their experiences, use body based calming tools, and reconnect with a sense of safety and self-worth.

Through engaging animations, creative worksheets, and guided facilitator support, Healing Together creates space for children to explore how their body and brain work together when they are feeling safe/unsafe, develop coping strategies, and begin to heal, at their own pace.
