Resourcing Parents & Carers: Supporting Children Affected by Domestic Abuse
Empowering parents and carers with trauma-informed tools to help their children feel safe, calm, and connected.
A gentle, structured programme for parents and carers supporting children affected by domestic abuse.
At Healing Together, we know that parenting whilst experiencing domestic abuse can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve created a trauma-informed programme designed specifically for parents and carers. Each session has been carefully crafted so that parents and carers can learn about their body and brain, feelings and use strategies to help themselves and their children feel safe.
Long lasting impact that effects future generations to come.
Train to deliver this six-session programme designed by clinical experts. It supports parents and carers in understanding their child’s emotional world, offering practical strategies to co-regulate, build trust, and nurture healing. While it supports those in a parenting role, this is not a conventional parenting programme, it's focused on connection, not correction.
